Berry Head

Seawatch 0730-1230, joined by Stan Stanbury. Light SW winds, almost calm at times. Heavy rain early folowed by mist and drizzle banks, clearing late am. Passage was mostly slow with 194 Manx Shearwater south, and c. 70 back north. 15 Balearic Shearwater south, 9 Common Scoter, 5 Sandwich Tern, 2 Razorbill, 2 Puffin, 1 Arctic Skua. 3 Mediterranean Gulls were feeding offshore . Most interesting observation was a fairly large Basking Shark  moving slowly south about 1100, first I have seen here for a number of years. Up to 4 Harbour Porpoise showing at times.
