Wrafton area

Highlights out of the nets this morning were: an adult male Kingfisher, a juvenile female Goldcrest, and a smart male Blackcap. Best was the first Reed Warbler this year; a retrap which I ringed as a 3J (recently fledged) on 30 July 2016. It's just got back from it's 6th trip to Africa, looked fresh as a daisy, and this is the first time I have retrapped it. Early on the scrape about 55 Godwits, later a lone Common Sandpiper.
