Birds at Slapton 26-05-2013

There was a stiff on shore breeze which sent the Whitethroat's call all over the place. It seemed to come from every direction.  I had to be very patient to locate the bird, well worth the effort.

Also the with a nice male Stonechat, Reed Warbler, 10-15 Barn Swallows & House Martins feeding in the shelter of Torcross.

Herring gulls of all ages roosting on the Ley, about 20 birds.

Three pairs of Grt.Crested Grebe.
