Velator reserve.

Ringing this morning shows that the seasons are progressing. 7 Chiffchaffs and a Goldcrest were probably all migrants, but the Redwing shows that there are still some Winter birds around. An adult male Sparrowhawk was probably bird of the day, although a Great White Egret flew by (again? - I thought I saw one a while back) and others reported Marsh Harrier and Barn Owl (which was seen to fly into and out of the reserve!)
