Wrafton

Drake Pochard on Wrafton Pond. Next to nothing out on the scrape. Not much on a reconnoitre around the reserve, so walked to the estuary. A few Redshank. Got the feeling it was all change, Winterers gone and Summerers not yet arrived. Back in the reserve, it did improve. Moorhen, Sparrowhawk, 3 Jays, Cetti's Warbler, Kingfisher, All 4 common Finches, 2 Long-tailed Tits, 2 Teal, but best was a Chiffchaff, probably new in, haven't seen one in the reserve since 17th January. Several Wrens singing.
