Wrafton pond area and Braunton Burrows

My afternoon visit to the Pond and then out to the Burrows was worthwhile.  Although the pond was quite there was some life, a Snipe in the usual place, a Coot, a few Mallard & Gulls and Two Moorhens.  Just a few Teal out on the Scrape and a pair of Shovelers along side in the smaller wet area.  Between the stone bridge and the Tarka Path was a very active Dipper.  On the Burrows just beyond the round thatched barn was the Whooper Swan the two Mutes.  The Whooper appears to have a metal ring.
