Exmouth - Maer Rocks and beyond

Starting at Exmouth and failing to find the wintering Black Redstart, we made do with estuarine views of Shags and a pair of Red-breasted Mergansers. Also a Rock Pipit was seen on the breakwater wall.

Moving on to Stantyway Farm, the fields and hedgerows revealed good numbers of Cirl Buntings, Skylarks and Linnets whilst 5 Red-legged Partridge made a run for it.

From the cliff top at Crab Ledge, 41 Common Scoter formed a raft and dived together, at least 2 Black-throated Divers showed well and several distant auks were seen with at least one Razorbill identified.
