Bowling green marsh

Watched from 15:00 till 18:30

a quick look from the viewing platform first produced 86+ whimbrel, 2 grey plover.

Moved onto the the hide, 250+ black tailed godwits, 1 dunlin, a gradual build up of black headed gulls was joined by first the 1st summer little gull which showed very well again and was soon joined by the adult Bonaparts gull which stayed around and was still present when I left at 18:30, also 22+ whimbrel, 21+ bar tailed godwits, 1 Summer plumage knot, 4 little egret, 3 tufted duck, 3 little grebe and steady passage of swifts,
