Beesands and Slapton

Drake Ring-necked Duck and 2 female/immature Lesser Scaup at Beesands. While the Ring-necked kept with Tufties, the Lesser Scaup (which slept a lot) kept on their own; one has more restricted white around the bill base, but both have only black on the nail at the bill-tip. Also 2 Cattle Egrets, 3 Pochard, Black Swan and Kingfisher. Earlier, the confiding male Snow Bunting was still just south of the Memorial car park at Slapton.
