Bowling green marsh

Watched from the hide 16:20 till 18:35

a good afternoon with the highlight being 2 brief appearances from the Bonaparts gull with 200+ black headed gulls, a common tern was present being very active at times, the 1st summer little gull was flying around with the common tern when one of the guys in the hide said he had a little gull sat down a quick look and yep 2 1st summer little gulls which continued to fly around together, 1 adult med gull. 

also on the marsh 250+ black tailed godwits, 9+ bar tailed godwits, 14+ dunlin, 1 summer plumage knot, 5+ greenshanks, 6+ whimbrel, 2 grey plover, 4 little grebe, 1 reed bunting, 4 tufted ducks,  5+ little egrets, still 7 wigeon. A yellow wagtail was also reported to me.
