Haldon ~ Stover ~ Rv Teign
Haldon Forest Park ~ flock of 20 plus Crossbill over head near the feed station, 3 Brambling, three Redpoll, several GSWP, Song Thrush, pair of Bullfinch, Nuthatch, several Jay, lots of Greenfinch but very few Siskin.
Stover Country park, 22 Mandarin duck, single Pochard duck, Tufted duck, Little Grebe, a drake Goosander, Heron and Jay.
Rv Teign, Passage House Inn, Common Sandpiper, Redshank, 20 plus Curlew, Little Egret, Heron, Oyster Catcher, Shellduck, huge numbers of Gulls mostly Herring and Black headed but a few Great Black Backs and two Common Gulls.
Common Redpoll
Eds - was this positively identified as Common (Mealy) Redpoll? The under-tail coverts do look white (with at least 1 arrow-headed streak) but it could be an effect of the light, other features are not clear from this photo and Lesser is of course, much more likely.
