Hope's Nose

Blustery/windy conditions this morning, particularly on the south side which was blown out.  50+ Redwings over the upper slope/entrance on arrival.  2 Firecrests and a Chiffchaff calling from deep cover in the top dell.

2 Eiders.  1 initially just NE of the Lead Stone and showed very well.  Later relocated more distantly N of the Orestone, where a second bird joined it briefly.  A single Balearic Shearwater south too.

Great to see 2 Purple Sandpipers close to the Point.
