South Brent ~ Home birding
With the change in the weather I put a bird feeder up today and was amazed how quickly it was rediscovered and soon emptied, upwards of 20 Greenfinch was a pleasant surprise I haven't seen that many around the garden for several years, a very persistent Nuthatch, flyover Greater Spotted and Green Woodpeckers, nice to have some Long Tailed Tits back on the feed station.
This morning gave the first evidence of the autumnal Wood pigeon migration with several small flocks of birds passing over, also a Mistle Thrush and several small flocks of Redwing.
