Exmouth

Mudbank - 0530 - long-tailed duck and a cetti's warbler - only my second in Exmouth, the last being during the really cold snap (winter 2009/10) in the same strip of bramble.

Orcombe Point - 0555 - 0815 - 4+ whimbrel, 16+ whitethroat, 1 swift, 2 stock dove, 20+ wheatear (cf none yesterday), 1 roseate tern, 5+ sandwich tern, 4 great northern diver high north and 60+ common scoter. Yesterday the roseate tern plus 2 great skua and 1 red-throated diver.
