Brent Hill

Stonechats maintain their year-round presence on farmland hedges below Brent Hill. Yesterday (1 October) there were at least eight in a loose flock on one hedge, and seven of them (two in flight) appear in the photo. They typically fly out into the field to snatch prey items. Also two snipe (migrants?) in the field.
