Plym Estuary & Saltram

Still a good spread of migrants around, with the highlight being a Turtle Dove (the first here since 1999) tonight as well as Yellow Wagtail, Sedge Warbler, 3+ Whinchats & both Bar- & Black-tailed Godwits. Also, 10 Greenshanks, 2 Dunlins, Common Sandpiper, 3 Mediterranean Gulls (2 ads including Polish-ringed bird + a 3rd calendar year), 16 Grey Herons, 15 Little Egrets, 2 Grey Wagtails, 5 Stonechats, 24+ Stock Doves, Sparrowhawk & 3 Roe Deer.

A proposed solar farm would destroy Chelson Meadow’s best habitat for breeding & migrant birds & other wildlife. Much of the wildlife seen in the wider Plym Estuary & Saltram site, relies on this adjacent area. Please object & support an alternative which would deliver solar and protect wildlife. Visit

Please encourage others to do the same.
