A great morning at Soar with the highlight being a Wryneck, (presumably the same as Rob's bird yesterday?) initially at the bottom of Stare Hole Valley but very mobile. Worked its way up the west side of the valley then looped back again.

Also a good spread of common migrants including 5 Wheatear, 2 Whinchats, a Redstart, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, a Pied Flycatcher, 10 Tree Pipits, 3 Yellow Wagtails, 3 or 4 White Wagtails, 30+ Chiffchaffs, at least 3 Willow Warblers, c12 Blackcaps, c15 Whitethroats and 2 Sedge Warblers etc. Lots about!
