A few locations.

Making most of a good day so went to a few locations

Crownhill down-   Two different cuckoo's seen and heard. Wheatears, stonechats with first juveniles out with them, yellow hammers, male kestrel, lots of pipits, linnets,   4 buzzards circling together, willow warblers, Canada geese fly over. A whole herd of fallow deer by the solar panels.

Cadover-  Cuckoo heard, canda geese, the female goosander with 2 young swimming up river, lots of sand martins busy as usual. Gold crest, willow warblers, mallards, pipits, stonechats,  pied and grey wagtails,  buzzard.

Finally- Cann woods- i was going to stay for nightjars but just too exhausted so just a walk around. First Swifts of the year for me, so happy with that as Plymbridge lacked them last week. Lots and lots of willow warblers, song thrush, bull finch, chaffinch, raven, crow, robin, dunnock, goldcrest, tree creeper, great spotted and green woodpecker.
