Velator

Ringing in the reserve today was again slow and all the action pretty much over by mid-morning.

Ringed 2 juvenile Robins, 1 Blackcap, 1 Song Thrush, 2 Bullfinch, 8 Reed Warblers and 2 Garden Warblers. Bird of the day though was another well-travelled Reed Warbler - S550766 which I ringed in the reserve on 3 June 2017 as an adult female, so she's been to Africa and back at least 6 times. That's pretty impressive. I did retrap her in the reserve in 2019, but that's the only other sighting. 2 Swifts over at 10.45.
