Soar - Bolt Head to Goat Rock

Carried out Rock Pipit and Wheatear breeding surveys along the base of the cliffs - both looking good this year. Away from the usual Rock Pipit territories encountered a very different pipit Scandinavian Rock Pipit A.p.littoralis.Watched for four mins at it was feeding on the path showing all the characteristics - a first for the site I believe. Flew off up the cliffs, very un Rock Pipit like! Later Grasshopper Warbler singing in Ham Lane and later at NT depot.

Non-avian - first 2 Small Pearl-bordered Fritillaries.
