Plympton Area

A group of about 12 hirundines over Colebrook saw our first three House Martins of the year, with Swallows. Wasn't able to locate Chris E's gropper on Crownhill Down, but this was made up for when we found two fledgling Dippers on the Tory Brook being watched over by dad.  Mum was 200 yards away having time to herself.  Nearby a Wren, standing on a little stone in the stream, was behaving just like a miniature Dipper when it walked right under the water for a second.
