Rillage Point to Watermouth

Visible/audible migration 05.45 to 08.30, all moving W or NW: Greylag Goose 1, Shelduck 5, Sand Martin 1, Swallow 57, House Martin 39, Yellow Wagtail 3, Meadow Pipit 3, Tree Pipit 7, Siskin 12, Yellowhammer 1 male (my first for this site after more than 10 years of regular recording here and only a day after one was seen on Lundy, where also a genuine rarity these days). Grounded migrants few and far between: a single Willow Warbler and maybe a couple of Whitethroats not among local territory holders, a female Wheatear and a Whimbrel.
