Rillage Point to Watermouth

Visible migration 14.00-16.30, everything heading E into the wind: 3 Swift, 230 Swallow, 98 House Martin, 18 Sand Martin, 5 alba wagtail, a Merlin and a constant passage of 206 Lesser Black-backed Gull, the majority immatures, though still quite a few adults going through. Also 5 Mediterranean Gull (all 2cy), 11 Black-headed Gull and a single Whimbrel, but no sign of the Bar-tailed Godwits and terns being seen in large numbers further E up the Bristol Channel. Too high up? Too far out? Cutting overland?
