Wrafton area

The scrape is following Wrafton Pond into losing all the interesting birds! No Godwits or Snipe today and only 2 Teal. There was however a Snipe in  the reserve - briefly, before (just like yesterday) it hopped over the fence into the reed-bed. Very few Warblers: a few each of Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Willow Warbler and a lone Reed Warbler in the reserve. Around Sherpa, 4 Reed Warblers, a few Teal and a drake Shoveler. Around the new pond beyond Sherpa 5 Wheatears and a Whimbrel. Only one Swallow in two days.
