Fremington and Isley Marsh

Yesterday 14th April. Visited the bench overlooking Isley Marsh but nothing out of the ordinary on the flats, gulls, heron and shelduck. Stonechats and skylarks very active in the area between there and Yelland, with linnets and greenfinches on the gorse. 3 glossy ibis and 5 redshank on Fremington Pill. On the Torridge mud just upstream from Bideford, opposite the lay-by, a probable little ringed plover.
