Skern at low tide

As the afternoon drew to a close many gulls came in to assemble before heading out to sea presumably to roost on the water. Herring Gulls, Common Gulls and over six hundred Black-headed Gulls. In amongst them all were three adult Mediterranean Gulls and a white necked Ruff who looked, and appeared to feel, ever so slightly out of place. A nice bird to see though.
