Despite the cold, Wigeon, Shoveler and Gadwall on Wrafton Pond, Redshank out on the scrape. In and near the reserve, about 60 Curlew in the field just to the south along with a busy flock of Starlings. Probably 40+ Goldfinch and 20 Greenfinch and rather enthusiastic singing Chaffinch! 3 Long-tailed Tits, 20+ Redwing, but best sighting was a small fast-flying flock of Golden Plover going over heading into the wind! First I've seen nearby for a long time.
