Plymouth

A female type Black Redstart in my back yard in Central Plymouth this morning, my first for the garden.

Off Plymouth Hoe at lunchtime were 3 Great Northern Divers near Drakes Island and a few Gannets flying around. On the rocks below the Pier One Cafe a single Purple Sandpiper with 9 Turnstone and a Kingfisher.

Outside the Sutton Harbour lock gates an Otter was a complete surprise, swimming across the water with a large crab in its jaws and being mobbed by Gulls., my first in Plymouth.
