Fremington Pill

An afternoon walk from Bickington, through Penhill to Fremington Pill helped improve the New Year. It began immediately with 10+ cattle egrets in the fields of North Down Farm. At Fremington Pill, as well as the usual suspects, there were 4 greenshank, 5 snipe in the grass / reeds in front of the bungalows, the spotted redshank is still present and a kingfisher was on a favoured tree at the top end of the Pill.
