Velator reserve etc

Still Wigeon, Shoveler and Gadwall in a partly frozen Wrafton Pond this morning plus an almost Black-headed, Black-headed Gull. Yesterday, the Redshank returned to the scrape after going off on his holidays since 18th December. There again today. After seeing a whizz-by Kingfisher under the bridge to the reserve yesterday, a Grey Wagtail did a lovely fly-around there today, Most of the usual suspects in the reserve but a treat was seeing a small flock (about 7) of SISKINS feeding on Alder cones. No records last year and one each in 2018 and 2019.
