Plymbridge then burrator

Early arrival as the sun rose at plym bridge, taking the back tracks where less people go. Plenty of roe deer about. Also green and g.s. woodpecker calling, nuthatch, redwings, over a dozen jays seen. Long/blue/great tits, p.falcon heard calling out from the valley. Over a dozen male pheasants, no females spotted. Jackdaw, crow, goldcrests.

Later had quick pop over to Burrator in the pine forest section. Could heard a large group of crossbills, but had no luck finding them, every time i got close i heard them moving to another part of the forest.
