Wrafton pond

08.00 visit yesterday (New Years Eve) to Wrafton pond to catch the raising sun on the pond.  Bit early though, the Pintail was there but in a poor lite area though by the time that it was light enough the bird had disappeared from view.  However, standing on the boardwalk I got some lovely shots of one male Bullfinch (2m + 1f), 2 Long tailed tits, 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 or 3 Snipe, some Wigeon, Teal (on the scrape), Shovelers (5m + 4f) 1 male Pintail duck and 5 or 6 Gadwall.  There were the usual suspects- Mallard, Swans, Moorhens (2 fighting), Coots, Black headed gulls and Little Grebes.
