Berry Head

After finding a Yellow-browed warbler near the Berry Head Hotel with about 20+ Goldcrest and Firecrest, I tried to relocate it for Steph and Rob Murphy only to find a Pallas's Warbler! There was obviously an arrival of Crests today with probably 30+ Goldcrest, 5 Firecrests, 2 Chiffchaffs.

Overhead migration today included 450+ Redwing, 1 Brambling, and 2 Yellowhammer but rather limited movement of Woodpigeon approx 600+, perhaps the oddest were 4 Great Northern Divers >S  over the woods!

Yesterday a tailless Yellow-browed Warbler was by the lower weir at Clennon Lakes also 2 Firecrests and 2 Chiffchaffs.
