Rillage Point to Watermouth

Visible migration this morning in dry, but still fairly blustery conditions, with a stiff WNW wind only slowly easing, included: Common Scoter 3 (W), Common Gull 1, Great Northern Diver 1 (flying W), Cormorant 16 (SW in groups of 2 to 6), Grey Heron 4, Sparrowhawk 1, Kestrel 2, Skylark 8, Swallow 7, alba wagtail 6, Meadow Pipit 39, Chaffinch 3, Linnet 44. Very little in the scrub (which has taken a real beating from the weather lately) apart from a scattering of Blackbirds, Robins, Stonechats and Goldcrests; probably migrants for the most part.
