Orcombe Point - 0700 and 1325 - two visits because it's unusually good at the moment for Orcombe - combined totals include 40+ phyllosc sp (mostly chiffchaff but willow warbler also recorded), 1+ male redstart, 3 wheatear, 16+ goldcrest, 1 firecrest, 3 black redstart, 2 snipe, c30+ meadow pipit, c300+ woodpigeon (big flock in newly seeded top field), 1 stock dove, 1 coal tit, 2 siskin, 2 blackcap, c30+ robin, c12+ song thrush, c15+ blackbird, 1 reed bunting, 2+ ring ouzel (private field behind Sandy Bay caravan park) and 9 dark-bellied brent goose.

Yesterday - Mudbank - 1 pale-bellied brent goose, 22 dark-bellied brent goose, 1 goldeneye, 19 black-tailed godwit, 8+ common gull, 2 redwing and an/the osprey north with a fish @ 1445.
