Exminster Marshes

Over a lunchtime visit today, a cracking Osprey was sat on a gate post behind the Lions Rest Industrial Estate. Apparently it had made a catch earlier. Also the winter plumaged Red-throated Diver was showing well on the canal close to the lagoon viewing platform. Around the lagoon were about 4 Swallows and similar numbers of Sand Martins. Still dozens of Chiffchaffs feeding everywhere. Possibly a Willow Warbler or two amongst them but hard to tell.
