East Soar

Spent over an hour waiting for an elusive warbler to re-appear but only two brief sightings. Generally light rusty brown above, very short primary projection, very long pink legs, medium sized suggested Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler but didn't get enough on it!! It was at the bottom of Starehole Valley, just 30 metres up from the bottom gate if anyone is around tomorrow.

Otherwise: 2 Sparrowhawk, Ringed Plover, Great Spotted Woodpecker west over the farm, 75 Swallow, 50 House Martin, 6 Yellow Wagtail, 2 White Wagtail, Grey Wagtail, 28 Stonechat, 8 Wheatear, 16 Whitethroat, 8 Blackcap, 10 Chiffchaff, Pied Flycatcher & Spotted Flycatcher.
