Wigford Down 23.7.2020

A walk over Wigford Down from Cadover Lakes this morning. About 30 Pied Wagtails mainly juvs feeding in the Cadworthy Farm fields. A loose flock of about 40 Starlings practically all juvs, in same fields.

The most interesting and amusing sighting was of an adult Great Black Backed Gull on a large stone being intimidated by a Raven. The gulls reaction was one of complete indifference. Despite the Raven being very noisy and agitated, it didn't move a muscle, and eventually the Raven gave up and flew off
