Avon Dam at dawn

Only a Great Crested Grebe on the water, but the dam wall was unusually busy. Aside from a resting Cormorant and a huddle of young Carrion Crows, there was much coming and going of small passerines, mostly juvs, between 0615 and 0630. Most surprising were Nuthatch and Bullfinch and Spotted Fly, but also recorded on the wall were Pied and Grey Wagtails, Meadow Pipit, Chaffinch, Great Tit, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Swallow:and Stonechat.
