South Brent

A morning walk from Shipley Bridge towards the Avon dam gave not less than six singing male Blackcap, three Wren, a Mistle Thrush, two Dipper sat together both colour ringed, two very vocal and active Cuckoo flying around together, nine Swallow, a Whitethroat,a Green Woodpecker and four Grey Wagtail.

Highlight was a totally unexpected sighting at close quarters of an Otter the first one I have ever seen here, not in the least bit fazed by my presence and carried on down river.
