Dawlish Warren, Cockwood and Exminster

From the sea wall, a Great Northern Diver was close in by Langstone Rock, a few Great Crested Grebes were dotted around, and 20+ Kittiwakes could be seen around Straight Point. A Cirl Bunting sang from the edge of the golf course.

From Cockwood, the Slavonian Grebe was distantly visible to the South, and several Mergansers were still present. In the valley behind, at least 20 Cattle Egrets were again with the dairy herd.

Exminster Marshes were very quiet, the only notable sighting being 5 Sandwich Terns resting in one of the flooded areas South of the bend in Swans Nest Road.
