Yarner Wood and Parke

Woodpeckers were in evidence this morning, showing well. Also drumming and calling. Nothing on the reservoir other than a grey wagtail. Lots of blue tits, Great tits, a song thrush and Goldcrest, coal tits and long tailed tits about as well. Along the river at Parke, pair of Dipper, nest building, at the moment high above the waterline , hope this continues . Lovely to see.
