Yarner and Dartmoor

Early morning visit to Yarner Wood yesterday gave the hoped for Woodpecker species, two Raven, Siskin, Long Tailed Tit, plenty of activity from Robins, Wrens and Blue Tits, three Mandarin on the reservoir.

A late afternoon walk along the Red Lake track at Bittaford produced a Yellow Hammer on the lower part of the moors, several Dunnock, Meadow Pipit and Skylark, one Stonechat and a Raven.
