Best sighting in the reserve this morning was a male Bullfinch, but best bird was a squealing Water Rail, the first since one nearby in June and a couple in early January. Oddly, Great Tits outnumbered Blue Tits by about 4:1.

3 Black-tailed Godwits out on the scrape.
