Percy Wakely Wood, Rockbeare, E. Devon.

One location that will be new to most people, other than locals, is this small wood east of Exeter Airport and owned by the Woodland Trust.  A brief visit this afternoon produced a fest of small birds and within ten minutes I found (2) Spotted Flycatcher, Treecreeper, (3) Bullfinch, Chiffchaff, (2) Long tailed Tit and others.  All within the first 100 yards of the carpark. (Parking limited to only two cars).
