Dawlish Warren & Exminster

0650 Dawlish Warren and a super male Wheatear heralds spring, but it's still winter offshore as the rain drives in over a single Great Northern Diver eating a crab, raft of 6 Common Scoter, 5 Shag and a pair of Great Crested Grebe head waving. No Sandwich terns and no martins.

0900 Exminster Marshes middle car park - Water Rail calling, Spoonbill with head firmly lodged in back (don't blame it), and some nice Pintail.

0930 Riverside Park - Reed bunting singing.
