Torbay from Broadsands

Checked out Torbay from Broadsands this morning as Sunday is the last winter boat trip for this season, some nice sightings:- 2 Black-necked Grebe ( well into summer plumage), 5 Great Crested Grebe, 8 Common Scoter, 1 Great Northern Diver (well beyond mussel farm bouys) and further out again a bird low on the water, similar shape to GND but smaller, one for Sundays boat trip to find and ID, 2 Mute Swans paddling across the Bay towards Brixham. Just as I walked back off the headland I had a Kingfisher on the rocks and a Cirl Bunting called from scrub behind me. Still 4 places on boat if interested give us a call.
