Nightjar

A Nightjar churred briefly just before noon today from a newly-replanted area of conifers near Perridge, at the North end of the Haldon ridge. The background chorus of Warblers (five spp. including Garden), Thrushes, Yellowhammers and Tree Pipits was most impressive.
