Slapton Ley

Slapton Ley ~ Cetti’s Warbler calling and showing all around the Ley along with Chiffchaff, huge numbers of Sand Martins coming in off of the sea and over the Ley, simply swarms and not realistic to even try counting, two House Martin and a small flock of Swallows in with them and possibly my first Red Rumped Swallow, briefest of views but distantly pale and pink rumped.

Several pairs of displaying Great Crested Grebe, duck species included Tufted, Ring Necked (pair) drake Golden Eye and Gadwall.

Hovering Kestrel and off of the beach several Sandwich Terns.
