After a few days away, a late afternoon visit to the reserve: lots of Sand Martins feeding over. An influx of Chiffchaffs, at least three  singing Willow Warblers, and 6 male Blackcaps seen.

Later still while looking at the scrape from the Tarka Trail, a small wader took one look at me and flew off towards Sherpa, slowly gaining height. Not Common Sandpiper, and almost certainly not Green Sandpiper... Will look again tomorrow.
